Animal Structures

The Hoop Coop allows for Grass-fed animals to be pastured in movable buildings while fertilizing fields. Animals can be fully contained and moved with the structure or allowed to graze outside of the building. Pastured poultry operators say that our structures allow them to 1/2 the labor costs while providing a better enviroment for the birds. Roosts, waterers, and feeders can be installed to move with the structure, but are not included. Provides increased security against aerial and ground predators and can be closed up if incidental weather threatens.

Chickshaw

The Chickshaw is a movable coop for layers and broilers designed by Eliot Coleman that provides all the benefits of pasture and complete protection during the night. Unique design allows for the coop dome to be removed, providing a high capacity utility cart for a variety of purposes. Kit does not include hardware cloth or roof covering. Note: Chickshaw kit does not include lumber.  Pictured here with Laying Box, not included.
